Description
Typhus Corrosion is a wash that has been specifically designed to add streaks of oily rust to Miniatures. It can be painted into recesses, around rivets, or between panel lines to give a realistic, time-worn appearance to a model.
The paint itself also contains tiny micro-beads which leaves a subtle texture when dry. If you drybrush Ryza Rust over the top of this you’ll get a complete rust effect on your miniatures.
This pot contains 12ml of Citadel Technical: Typhus Corrision. As with all of our paints, it is a non-toxic, water-based acrylic paint designed for use on plastic, metal, and resin Citadel miniatures

So i got this on a whim, not sure what it would be like and…. WOW!!!!
I was surprised how amazing this is for giving a corroded effect to metallic. I used it to really dirty up some Kreig Soldiers making their weapons look warn and battered instead of pristine silver!
Certainly worth it as you won’t use much and it is a good price from outpost!

Great for corroded metal effects, however it is not an all-in-point technical paint but instead needs coats of colour on top, such as leadbelcher and Ryza Rust or your brass colour of choice and Nihilakh Oxide. As such I only give it 4/5, because I would prefer something all-in-one.
