Description
Akita left her small village to seek her fortune in Jima. Like many who do so, she found she had no unique gifts to offer and worked a regular job for the Syndicate in the gambling houses. Expecting much more and seeing the wealth of the patrons and her employers, she constantly asked for more moons, holidays and special treatment. The other workers started calling her “Princess” to suit her lofty ambitions and lack of desire to work toward them. Akita has three Ki Feats, which form the core of her profile. Terror-inducing Performance is not going to be present in every game. It is a niche use feat, but its effects can be devastating when it has a use. In Bushido, it’s always best to de-buff enemies as much as possible before going in for
the kill, and this Ki Feat allows you to double up on Melee Dice penalties. The Fate Cannot be Cheated Ki feat has two great uses and may not be usable every game. Still, it is very powerful in the right situation, and using it on a friendly model means your model is immune to the effects of Dodge and Feint traits and other Ki Feats or effects that force them to re-roll. Alternatively, using on an enemy can nullify things like Prowess, Hotai’s Coin and Luck Tokens. Destiny’s Fear, however, is a Ki Feat that can be devastating every time. With enough Kumo, you can make any poisoned model fail at almost every test they make. Even the most powerful melee model will struggle to survive against even the least of the Kumo. The potential for this feat is enormous and well worth the high Ki cost… if you can amass the 5 ki in the first place.
Blister contains one printed resin miniature supplied with a 50mm base and full colour profile card.
