Background

Clad in black armour, their helmets crafted into the visage of a skull, the Chaplains of the Adeptus Astartes are the image of death made manifest. Weilding a Crozius, both a symbol of their rank and a powerful close combat weapon, Chaplains wade into the thickest fighting with a fury born of one with unshakeable faith. The Blood Angels Chaplains are the only ones able to communicate with those lost to the Black Rage, an affliction that steals the sanity of Blood Angels marines and reduces them to bloodthirsty berserkers.
