Description
Contrast paints are a fantastic new paint formulation which requires one simple coat over a spray to bring your model to tabletop standard with almost no effort!
Even if you’re not using the full-blown Contrast Method, there are a few paints in here you’ll want to try. A basecoat of Wraithbone followed up with some Nazdreg Yellow, for instance, gives you a cleanly shaded yellow in moments, and is perfect if you’re looking for an easy way to tackle this typically difficult-to-paint colour. Likewise, Warp Lightning Green and Flesh Tearers Red make vivid, beautiful, deep colours possible in a single application.
All of our paints are non-toxic, water-based acrylic that are designed for use on plastic, metal, and resin Citadel miniatures. One pot contains 18ml of contrast paint.

Part of the excellent contrast paint range – use one thick coat over a grey base to get decent results very quickly!

The name brings back fond memories of a previous GW paint range. Part of the new contrast range, this is a great addition to any painters toolbox.
Great for leather as the name suggests, but also timber

One coat, self shading – great for the gamer in a rush. Also a useful part of an experienced painters toolbox. Possibly the best paint of the whole range

Revolutionised the way I paint leather. But this over a Zandri Dust base, and then drybrush the details with Skrag Brown. You get a nice highlight effect even where you’re not able to drybriush thanks to the Zandri dust showing through. Do practise on some sprue or an old model first as contrast paints are a little difficult to use first time around.

One of my favourite contrast paints it makes leather significantly easier, I primarily use contrast over a zenithal undercoat. I’d recommend testing each contrast paint first as they have different opacities.
