Description

Background

Among the most vile machines that the Death Guard field, the daemon engine known as the Foetid Bloat-drone is a truly horrifying sight. Bloated, rotting meat melded to cracked and rusting metal, borne aloft by turbines that churn the spore filled air into chaotic symbols, it’s only imperative to move in closer to the enemy where its plague spitters can wreak the most damage. Those that are armed with the grotesque implement known as a flesh mower are the most aggressive of their kind, determined to shred their opponents into a disgusting slurry that can be sucked up by the trailing pipes and tubes of their plaguespitter armed brethren and so turned into ammunition for these vile pack hunters.

Kit

This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble a Foetid Bloat-drone. A huge, intimidating amalgamation of machine and rotting meat, the front of the model is dominated by a carapace which can be assembled as 1 of 3 options – one featuring a Nurgle symbol picked out in skulls, one featuring the symbol carved into the carapace, and one featuring a hideous toothed maw covered in pustules, tentacles and hoses dangling from within. It comes armed with 2 plague spitters and a plague probe; whichever carapace you pick, the plague spitters can be replaced with either a heavy blight launcher or a flesh mower (which looks as utterly ghastly as it sounds…) The back of the model is a riot of horrendous detail, with obscenely stretched skin spilling over the metal structures that barely contain it.

Contents

The kit comes as 44 components, and is supplied with a Citadel 60mm Round base.

  1. markp (verified owner)

A great fun kit with plenty of versatility and in game punch.

If you play pure Death Guard, this is one of only two units (the other being Daemon Prince with wings) that has the FLY keyword meaning that it is almost essential if you play with multi level scenery.

  2. Nureeg (verified owner)

This is a great kit with lots of bits. If you can grab the easy build one you can add weapons from this..easy. And fleshmowers are gruesome.

  3. DoomSquirrel (verified owner)

A good kit with multiple building options, great for kit bashing with too. A powerful mobile unit for a slow moving army.
