Description
Background
“For many days I have pondered how best to describe the Feculent Gnarlmaw, Quercus Coprolidae, without understating its hideous appearance and loathesome smell. Known to grow only where the foul legions of the Plague God have traveled across the lands, the trunk of this twisted organism is dominated by a trio of engorged boils or pustules, constantly leaking a noisome substance that attracts the unclean things of nature. Splitting the trunk asunder is a chasm that would have felled any other tree, lined with thorns that could almost be considered fangs, were that not impossible…”
Father-Scholar Johanne Wray, Priest of Sigmar
Kit
This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble a Feculent Gnarlmaw. Dominated by 3 large bulbs describing a Nurgle icon, covered in chitinous bumps and boils (this is not a model for the tryptophobic!), the Gnarlmaw looks almost like some struggling creature rather than the twisted tree it allegedly is. An enormous mouth runs up the centre of the trunk, with dozens of razor-sharp teeth lining it, while the few stunted branches that grow from it feature dismal bells, tentacles and more pustulent boils. A Nurgling is depicted emerging from the rear, and the base of the model is detailed with the skulls of those who have been foolish enough to venture near…
Contents
The Feculent Gnarlmaw comes as 6 components, and can be used in games of Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar.

The bells are annoying. Kind of goes with the 40k Plague Furnace for more plaguey terrain, but a bit smaller than you think (good detail though).

Not my favourite to build. Design very Nurgle, detailed and easy to paint
